We send homeowners who want thermostats, locks, cameras, lighting, energy monitoring and whole-home automation installed properly. We are building the installer side now — by hand, one application at a time.

What you get

• Install-consult requests in your service area and categories, forwarded with the homeowner’s own words (platform, devices, timing).
• Scope-first jobs: the homeowner has read what we do and don’t do on each service page before they ask.
• Larger, contractor-scale work routed through HouseIQ — quote check, written scope, milestone pay.

What we expect

• Licensed and insured where your jurisdiction requires it for the work (line-voltage, panel, low-voltage). We ask for documents before the first referral.
• A written scope before work starts; no upsells the homeowner didn’t ask for.
• Honest product claims — Matter/platform support stated only where the manufacturer states it (we keep a SKU DB for exactly this).
• Hand over admin codes and accounts; delete installer credentials before you leave.

What this costs

Nothing to apply, nothing yet per referral. Referral terms are set in writing with the first installers we onboard, before any fee exists. We will not publish lead volumes or “average job values” we don’t have.

3. Consult requests that match are forwarded to you; the homeowner always knows a specialist installer, not SmartHouse.com, does the work.
